Introduction
The Department of Pathology at our Hospital is a vital academic and diagnostic unit, delivering high-quality teaching, training, and laboratory services. With a focus on excellence and innovation, the department serves undergraduate MBBS students, allied health sciences, and nursing students. It also manages a state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory and fully equipped blood bank. Our department plays a pivotal role in training future healthcare professionals and supporting clinical decision-making through timely diagnostics.
Our professionals are actively involved in facilitating undergraduate practical sessions, supporting diagnostic work, and maintaining the smooth functioning of laboratory services. Services
- Our state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory is equipped with modern instruments from Roche, Sysmex, and other global leaders.
- The department offers comprehensive services in: Hematology, Histopathology, Microbiology, and Clinical Chemistry.
- The pathology department also manages the hospital blood bank, which features automated screening for transfusion-transmitted infections.
- Cancer Pathology: Investigating molecular markers for early detection and targeted therapy.
- Hematological Disorders: Studying the pathogenesis and treatment response in clinical donors.
- Infectious Diseases: Monitoring antimicrobial resistance patterns and emerging pathogens.
- Transfusion Medicine: Advancing blood safety protocols and donor screening methods.
- In addition to undergraduate MBBS teaching, our department actively educates Allied Health Sciences (MIT, Nutrition, IT, OT, DPT) and Nursing students.
- We also run a BS in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program to prepare skilled laboratory professionals through hands-on training.
- Since the start of the program in 2022, we have the honor of achieving almost 100% result of pathology in last three years.

Consistent 100% pass rate in UHS pathology exams over the past 3 years.
2% UHS distinctions in 2024 in 3rd and 4th year MBBS.
Successful launch and expansion of BS Nursing, MIT, and DPT programs.
First and only private institution in Faisalabad offering Histopathology FCPS training.
CPSP recognition for FCPS Histopathology training program.
Adoption of advanced diagnostic technology and safety protocols in all laboratory sections.
For the last two years we are also entertaining the internships in pathology dept (undergraduate and postgraduate).
